THE HISTORY/ABOUT APAPA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Apapa senior high school is a special public school located at ''No 43, Pelewura Crescent, Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria''. The special  school comprises student from different ethnic groups in the country,that is why it is established to represent the school in dressing and to promote academic and moral excellence.The school uniform goes thus. A well made green trouser for the boys, and also a green skirt for the girls,with the combination of plain white shirt with the school badge place on the left hand side of the shirt. A pair of brown sandal and plain white socks,and a green  neck tie for the latter.That is the awesome uniform of the special school above,you could be wondering that how is this school a special school❓,this is the format, if you take a close look, back to what i have been saying, the school comprises student from different ethnic groups in the country,i mean Yoruba student,Igbo,Hausa,Fulani,Ibibio,egun and also student outside Nigeria like Ghana,Cameroon,Benin,to mention few there is still more,but time will not permit me so let me save your time.I will be back to tell you more but before i do that, let me take you into the world of history of Apapa Senior High School.

SCHOOL HISTORY
Apapa Senior High School was established by the late Alhaji Lateef Jakande,led civil administration on 26th of September 1980.The school started with 586 students,19 teaching staff and 6 non-staffs.At the end of the first week of resumption,50 student were transferred to the nearby school United Christian Senior Secondary School,leaving the school with 536 student.It was later split into junior and senior schools on 6th January 2003.Since then Apapa Senior High School has ranked among the best senior secondary schools in the state with many awards being won by both staff and students. The demographics shows that all major ethnic groups of Nigeria are represented thereby giving it a National outlook. It is needful to state that the Old students too are pulling their weights both at the Local and National Level.
